The UK’s Best Workplaces for Development List recognises companies making employee development a key part of company culture.
We understand that development is not one-size fits all, and they actively support every single employee to undertake their own tailored journey of growth.
Over the past year, we’ve continued investing in our people through initiatives including apprenticeships, leadership development, cross-team collaboration, industry events, mentoring, wellbeing support and creating more opportunities for people to learn from one another across the business.
Our inclusion on this year's list reflects the culture we continue to build together, one where curiosity, creativity and progression are encouraged at every level.
To determine the UK’s Best Workplaces for Development™, Great Place To Work® reviewed employee feedback alongside our approach to culture, leadership and development. The rankings are based largely on anonymous employee responses, recognising organisations where people genuinely feel supported to grow and develop.
The feedback from our team highlighted the value placed on continuous learning, shared knowledge and the opportunities available to develop both personally and professionally at STM.
