Summer success at
STM AGENCY

Although Manchester’s been a little slow to warm up this summer, the same can’t be said for STM AGENCY. The last couple of months have been packed full of perpetual thinking, new creative projects, client wins…and a bit of team fun, too.

You’ve all been working hard behind the scenes to deliver some truly outstanding work, and we’re so excited about what we’ve achieved. It’s been a work-hard, play-hard start to the summer - and we can’t wait for more!

Our summer adventure

On the 14th of June, the team took on the Crystal Maze. We all came together for a day full of fun, puzzles and physical challenges as we navigated through the Aztec, Industrial, Futuristic, and Medieval zones to win crystals and beat the maze…

A big thank-you to everyone who came along and got involved. We had an incredible time conquering each game and celebrating together.

Say hello to....

It’s been an incredibly busy year for us. As a result, our agency is growing, and it’s great to see some new faces around the office. In the past month, both Joel Russell and Tia Nelson have joined the team and hit the ground running.

Welcome to STM AGENCY, both! We’re so happy to have you onboard.

Joel Russell

Here's a little introduction to Joel:

1) Location: Based in MediaCity/Manchester
2) Interests: Music (big record collector), Reading, Painting
3) Job Title: Senior Creative
4) First Impression of the agency: Everyone has been really welcoming. I felt comfortable right away and have appreciated the collaborative spirit of the agency - it's allowed me to get stuck into projects quickly and feel supported throughout.

Tia Nelson

4) First impression of the agency: I lucked out here! Everyone has lovely and made me feel really supported.

Appraisals

Well done to everyone for getting on board with the new appraisal system and loading all your objectives into BOB.

As we move forward, we hope you'll find it easier to keep your goals in sight and start chipping away at them. The key is to be consistent, tackle them bit by bit, and keep talking to your line managers and teams to get them done by the end of the year. Keep in mind that the appraisal year spans 2024/25, and your year-end appraisal will be in April 2025.
